Today we read some of our Disney Books. The girls also got a park of Princess underwear (I'm sure someday they will just love this post). I was lucky to find a pack of Frozen and a pack of Ariel underwear at our local Kohls. Look how happy they are!!!!!!!!!

The excitement.....might kill us all. I decided to do this movie tonight, because my Hub would be away for the evening coaching football...and he can't seem to Let it Go! We already had a party with the Frozen theme so I had to think about this one a little bit harder. This time around here is what I came up with:
Special gift of the night - FROZEN sunglasses!
Over the summer I found these beads on a clearance rack and the colors reminded me of Frozen. I bought them not really knowing what I was going to do with them. Then I saw an idea from a birthday party to make Frozen bracelets. So tonight we made our own version of a Frozen bracelet using the beads and elastic string.
Its hard to get a dinner and movie night in during the week but this one worked well since we grabbed take out for Mulan! We swung into one of our favorite restaurants here in Happy Valley, Cozy Thai and grabbed some of their yummy Fried Rice and Spring Rolls. For dessert we finished up the Mickey Mouse cupcakes we made last night!
Tonight we make Mickey Mouse cupcakes! It was a great treat for after dance as well!
We used regular golden butter cupcakes, icing, regular size Oreos and mini Oreos. Bounce around like Tigger! I made the the girls tails out of felt! The loved them and of course bouncing around. Bounce bounce bounce!
Dinner and a Movie Night with one of my all time Disney favs...Robin Hood (and I know if you have watched this movie you said Robin Hood like Prince John). My sister and I have loved this movie since...FOREVER and was so excited when the girls watched it and fell in love with it too. I recall my first time at Disney and how I was excited to see Maid Marian, even at age 12! Our Feast included:
Oo-de-lally, Oo-de-lally
Golly, what a day!!! AHHH - its the weekend! Made it thru the first two weeks of school. What a great day to have a Mickey Mouse Breakfast! We had Mickey Pancakes, Pluto's Bacon Strips and Minnie Mimosas (the real things for the hubs and I and OJ/Sprite for the kiddos). Great way to start our busy day!
Its not something I really want to think about but it's a must to discuss...what if we get separated. Although this Queen Bee is very on protective and attentive in large crowds... being in a large, magical place like Disney its best to be safe rather than sorry later. The bees and I talked about if they were to get separated from us, they need to look for a female cast member and tell them you need help in finding your parents. Both of the girls know my husband and I's full names, my oldest bee knows both of our cells. I know there is a lot of tracking that can be done with the Magic Bands - so I would hope they would be able to use that to help in need.
They also got a special Minnnie Mouse outfit to wear on the trip! I can't recall where I found this next idea at...most likely Pinterest. Its a DIY activity book for kids while flying (would also work for road trips). Just take a three ring binder, added some paper, coloring/activity pages (found randomly online, see below for the ones I found), stickers and tadaa! I found the following activity and coloring pages here:The Frozen and Princess Packs are available at Over the Big Moon. (She has some other cool pre-K packs too!!). I also made these little activity containers for while we are in Disney. My girls like to go go go, so I made several of these for when we go out to eat and need to wait for our food or if we need to take a rest. I saved my Crystal Light containers, printed off 1/2 sheets of coloring pages (http://www.colouring-page.org/), added a pack of crayons to each and in some of them I added s sheet or two of stickers.
