Bags packed and we are ready to go. Our flight doesn't leave until early evening, so we all headed to school and work for a half a day. Details to come when we come back from our trip!!! Off to enjoy the MAGIC that is Disney!! :)

One more day, one more day! The girls are FILLED with excitement and I'm sure seeing their Magic Bands didn't help calm them down!!!! Mickey sent our Magic Bands in the mail (very excited to use these). I bought fun decals for the girls and put them on before they were given to them. I purchased the decals from Swamp Ink Digiital Printing. Now off to finish packing.
TWO MORE DAYS!!! Today I gave the girls autograph books and pens! I made these books from a spiral sketch notebook, Disney scrapbook paper and stickers. The book I purchased from Amazon (what can I say - they have just about everything!), the pack of Disney paper I picked up at Michaels Craft Store, and the stickers from miscellaneous places. I used my Cricut cutter to cut out their names, glued them down and used modge podge over top. I had fun putting these together and hopefully we can add some pictures when we get back so they each have it as a keepsake.
Our weekend got a little crazy with a visit from the girls' aunt (my sis-in-law). We were going to do a Disney craft for our day 4, but we will save that for another time.
Today we are wrapping our Disney Dinner and a Movie Nights with The Little Mermaid. This is currently my big bee's favorite Disney Movie/Princess. I had so much fun planning these and coming up with cute names for the food. I will def be doing more of these, just because, especially in the winter when we need some fun! The Little Mermaid Menu:
Since I took care of most of the packing, I thought it would be a great idea for the girls to get their carry-ons ready. We have about a 2 hr drive to the airport, so I am hoping we can arrange things in their bag for easy in and out. Our must haves:
To add to their carry-on the girls got these personalized water bottles. I purchased these from Swirly Twirly Designs. The girls absolutely love them! Here is their suitcase...I used gallon sized Ziplocs, labeled the day it was for and put all their clothes in (including undies). I was pleasantly surprised how little room everything took up once we packaged everything. I will def be using this method on future trips.
What is better than a little Disney B-I-N-G-O! I used some of the goodies I found at the $1 store and 5 Below for (I separated into 2 piles so there wouldn't be any fighting). I made the bingo sheets on excel, I made a few them and overlapped some of the characters. Each time of the girls got bingo I let each of them pick a prize from their pile, until all the prized were gone. Our big bee also lost a her first top tooth. She looks so funny...only a matter of time until the next one comes out!
One week!!!! Eeeek!
We have a busy evening: dinner, dance and back to school night. So this morning the girls each got some Princess PJs and I pulled out maps of the parks and our hotel. I really don't think the girls have any idea how massive Disney World really is. We talked a little about the characters, waiting to stand inline for their autographs, waiting in line for rides, and how we have to all be patient. I had these personalized maps done online thru Disney. Don't plan on actually taking them to the park but thought it would be a great keepsake for the girls. If you have never been to www.spoonful.com, check it out! They have cute crafts, good recipes, party ideas and more! I love Monsters, Inc and had to do this when i saw it. Mike Wazowski Paper Craft. With some blood, sweat and tears we got Mike finished!
Today the girls also got a small gift. A princess nightlight! Scored this bad boy at the dollar store! Hoping this will help bedtime, if I tell them its a magical nightlight??? It seemed to work...I guess we will see next week. Yesterday I did The Color Run - The Happiest 5K on the Planet! It was my third 5K of the year and I had a blast. We got hit with yellow, pink, purple and blue...lots of blue. We had it on our teeth and somehow I got a huge amount on my left side (my art is still blue). Hoping it comes back next year and maybe I'll take the girls with me as well....oh boy the mess that will make! But as long as we all have fun...that is all that matters, right?
Tonight we had a candlelit dinner, just like Lady and the Tramp. I substituted spaghetti for spaghetti squash, I still call it spaghetti and the girls don't seem to notice the difference. We just started eating spaghetti squash earlier this year and I must say - we have been missing out. Its the coolest thing and I was amazed the first time I made it. Here is the menu:
