Summer always comes and goes so fast. I love the idea of a bucket list so I made this one so we can make the most of the summer! Hoping I can snag some of this with pics and create a summer photo book with all of them. Below is the PDF download for anyone that wants to join the fun! ![]()

December is upon us and I'm excited. A few years ago we started the 25 days of Christmas, we usually do something fun each day or the kiddos may get a small gift. I feel that its a little bit more fun to enjoy all the days up to the big day, it goes so fast. December 1st - Our elf, Molly arrived with a Tsum Tsum advent calendar (sometimes you have to just give in to the toy madness). They are crazy excited to see which characters we will see over the next 3 weeks! Our first Tsum Tusm was a Holiday Minnie Mouse! December 2nd - One of my favorite holiday movies is The Santa Clause with Tim Allen, so naturally its one of my girls favorites too. We snuggled up on the couch for the movie with some Candy Cane Oreo Blizzards from Dairy Queen - amazing!!! December 3rd - Once a month (the 1st Saturday), the Home Depot hosts a kid workshop. My girls love it. This past Saturday they built gingerbread candy dishes. If you haven't check these workshops out, do it - they are FREE! We also stopped by Kid to Kid for a quick visit with Santa! December 4th - Making your own wrapping paper at Schlow Library has sort of become a tradition. They host this event in conjunction with their Polar Express each year. They have it again this coming weekend if you want to check it out. This year we also joined in on the fun of the Polar Express! I must say I was very impressed! They are doing it again this weekend - looks like their pre-registation is all booked but you can call or check in person to hear about their walk-in registration. This is another free event - shops downtown I believe help with this event - so take a stroller and support them while you are there!
Well this site has been severely neglected for well about a YEAR! I had full intentions of sharing the rest of our Disney Countdown and our trip from November, but time got the better of me. Then we hit the holidays and shortly after welcomed a third baby bee! I was super lucky and was able to spend the whole summer at home. We made frequent trips to the pool, parks, library, and other fun local spots. I won't bore you with a bunch of old details but here are a few snaps... Fall has flown by and as I settle back in to working life, I'm going to try to keep my calendar more up to date, and make some updates on my page as well. Stay tuned. :)
Even though summer is over, I thought this next project was pretty neat. Disney inspired pots we can use for some flowers next spring! We used acrylic paint and then a sealer on top.
I love lazy Sunday mornings and a big breakfast/brunch. Today we made it Chef Mickey themed. Mickey cinnamon buns and breakfast pizza ! Great way to start a Sunday in the fall!
The biggest hit for our last countdown was my Disney Dinner & a Movie! So of course I had to work quite a few in for this one. We kicked it off with Tangled. We have seen this movie quite a few times, it ranks on the top of my charts. Tangled Menu: I have been planning this trip for a while and was bursting at the seams to tell the girls we are going back to DISNEY this year (i think they had a hunch we were going). This will be our first time visiting Disney as Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members, going with friends, oh and I'm pregnant! Sooo exciting! The cookies were made by my talented co-worker, Shannon's Creations. Let the countdown begin!!!!!!!!!!!
Last year we welcomed Molly the Elf and a countdown to Christmas for the month of December. Molly is our Elf on the Shelf. We don't really follow all the rules, like not touching the Elf because it will loose its magic, but the girls love looking for Molly every morning and honestly I have fun with it too. We had so much fun last year, we are doing it again!!!! Our countdown consist of events, crafts, activities and sometimes gifts. Today we kicked it off with the arrival of Molly and some foam Christmas ornaments.
Yesterday was an "unofficial" countdown day...we got our tree. Bags packed and we are ready to go. Our flight doesn't leave until early evening, so we all headed to school and work for a half a day. Details to come when we come back from our trip!!! Off to enjoy the MAGIC that is Disney!! :)
One more day, one more day! The girls are FILLED with excitement and I'm sure seeing their Magic Bands didn't help calm them down!!!! Mickey sent our Magic Bands in the mail (very excited to use these). I bought fun decals for the girls and put them on before they were given to them. I purchased the decals from Swamp Ink Digiital Printing. Now off to finish packing.
