Summer always comes and goes so fast. I love the idea of a bucket list so I made this one so we can make the most of the summer! Hoping I can snag some of this with pics and create a summer photo book with all of them. Below is the PDF download for anyone that wants to join the fun! ![]()

We are so close to summer break (yes like other schools in the area we still have a few days left). We got to enjoy a little bit of it on the deck while the kids ran a-muck! I only got a quick pic of the Buffalo pizza while I was making it...the kids were too hungry! Everything turned out great. I never made the flourless cheesy flatbread and I was pleasantly surprised, we added some of the buffalo chicken to the top.
The Food:
Well this site has been severely neglected for well about a YEAR! I had full intentions of sharing the rest of our Disney Countdown and our trip from November, but time got the better of me. Then we hit the holidays and shortly after welcomed a third baby bee! I was super lucky and was able to spend the whole summer at home. We made frequent trips to the pool, parks, library, and other fun local spots. I won't bore you with a bunch of old details but here are a few snaps... Fall has flown by and as I settle back in to working life, I'm going to try to keep my calendar more up to date, and make some updates on my page as well. Stay tuned. :)
The fam and I spent last week in Cape May, I think its safe to say we all had a great time...hanging out in the sand, dolphin watching, shark fishing, good food and of course a little shopping! ![]() The bees at Washington Square, great place to walk around and shop! They also have some great ice cream places too! We spent plenty of time on the beach...the little bees loved the sand and water. They were pretty much fearless when it came to the ocean! Daddy bee helped them build a sand castle and they decorated it! If you are in Cape May and looking for some family friendly fun....head to their Zoo. Its a great little zoo, free admission, a huge playground and a few rides. We saw lots of animals. One of our favs was the bear. He must have been HOT HOT HOT...we watched him walk around, then back down into his pool, dropped his bottom in and let out a sigh. We took a family adventure on the American Star (Cape May Whale Watch & Research Center) to see some dolphins in action. It was the bees first time on a boat and they did great. There were several aquariums on the boat that held different ocean animals. The starfish was a hit and we got to see lots of dolphins popping in and out of the water. Towards the end of the week Daddy bee, my bro-in-law, dad and myself went deep sea fishing on the Fishing Fever IV. We didn't know what we would be fishing for, so when we got there and our Captain asked if we wanted to go shark fishing...all the guys faces lit up. So shark fishing we went. We caught 15 sharks, mostly brown and sand tigers. My dad caught the biggest one - around 9 ft and 250 lbs. I got a little brown shark (pic in the far right corner). It was def a great time and I think we may have found something we need to do every year! A few days after our fishing trip, a GREAT WHITE was spotted about 20 miles off Cape May....Check out the video! And of course no trip would be complete with out some good seafood. After a day out on the sea, we went to the Raw Bar at the Lobster House. Highly recommend! Great food! Can't wait to go back next year!!
